When you arrive at the Kings Cottage you will park your car directly in front of our pine bridge leading to the front porch. The large front antique door looks like a castle door with grated window inlaid which can be opened from the inside to see who is coming to visit.
When entering the hideaway you will see special textured walls that look like leather, pecan wood flooring and a coffered ceiling with copper tiles in the living area.
Nestled in the corner by the fireplace is a large mouthed bass trophy that was caught by Kevin's wife's grandfather "Max Pace". We are fortunate to have many of Max's fish trophies adorning our walls at the Kings Hideaway.
A fully stocked bass fishing lake that is waiting for our fisherman to "Catch a big one". Our policy for fishing is a catch and release only and is free to our guests. |
A large kitchen completely stocked ready for that avid chef, gas grill located right outside the kitchen door on large side porch. The kitchen is complete with dishes, pots & pans.
Breakfast items will be placed in your cottage for you to prepare at your leisure. If you prefer to enjoy our gourmet breakfast at the Estate House please make reservations at least 24 hours in advance. The cost is $15 per person.
The King's Hideaway features a beautiful master bedroom with a king size bed. A second bedroom with a full size bed and a twin daybed is available for more than two guests at an additional cost when requested. Both rooms are beautifully decorated with a King's touch.
The living room features a large ornamental Austin stone fireplace, beautiful leather couch, and large chairs to fit any king.
The master bedroom also features a large antique armoire, white plush carpet and french doors that lead to the side porch that has its own hot tub, white Adirondack chairs to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the scenic beauty of the farm.
The bathroom has a beautiful red marble counter top with copper sink and gold fixtures, inlaid tile floor that looks like wood and shower ceiling has its own copper tiles.
All in all this cottage is fit for a king or anyone who feels like being a king for a day when staying at Lillian Farms.
