The Perfect Location in the Heart of Texas
The Estate House at Lillian Farms combines the grace and charm of a Victorian-style mansion with all of the modern conveniences. The house features five beautifully appointed traditional Bed & Breakfast guest rooms, each with private en suite bath. Room rates include a full breakfast every morning. Perched atop a rolling hill on land that was once a cotton plantation, the home overlooks 230 acres of picturesque landscapes brimming with flora and fauna. To reassure our guests, we always thoroughly clean and disinfect all of our units after our guests leave.
For those who really want to get away from it all, our secluded self-catering cottages fit the bill. With their edge-of-the-woods privacy or solo building occupancy, these cottages offer an array of amenities from cozy, romantic settings to enough room for a family to spread out. Seven of them have hot tubs, and all have full kitchens and gas grills.

ABOUT THE OWNER
Barbara Segal built Lillian Farms from the ground up...literally.
Starting with a dream when she was just a child of owning a boarding house frequented by handsome cowboys (she watched a lot of Westerns), Barbara bought the first 150 acres that would become Lillian Farms in 1989. Gradually, the acreage has grown to 230, and it is some of the prettiest property in Washington County.
She began construction of the Estate House in 1999. It was completed in 2002, just in time for her daughter Kassie's wedding. Lillian Farms Bed & Breakfast opened that same year.
After running the B&B for a few years, Barbara noticed that there was a segment of guest travelers who tended to not frequent B&Bs for a number of reasons, and she decided to try and attract that demographic by building self-catering cottages. Today, there are eight self-catering cottages at Lillian Farms, offering guests the privacy of a secluded cottage with the convenience of on-site staff if needed.
When she's not seeing to the running of her successful business or visiting with guests (one of her favorite things to do), Barbara enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and animals.
